Hello,
We are new to Goats and showing and are planning on going to a show where Wes Hallman will be Judging. What kind of Goat will Mr. Hallman be looking for and how do we prepare. We were told he judged the last Nationals, what are Nationals? Any suggestions and or help would be appreciated.

To me it's hard to give an opinion of a judge when they are jugding nationals due to there being 3 judges in the ring and they confer togtehr on choices. We haven't ever shown under him except at nationals which is like the grand finale of all shows, showing the best from all over the United States

Wes has been called a "sheep " Judge. He misses a lot of faults, such as teat structure and pasterns. He is considered a "political" judge, and I have seen some of his politics up close. He probably does a better job judging with two
other judges in the ring with him. And maybe not.

Anyone who was at Nationals knows first hand that he is a total AHOLE. He disrespected exhibitors with his smartelic mouth. He was especially disrespectful to women and children. I am surprised he did not get his old butt kicked. Most people are scared to say or do anything, there was talk about sanctions by the ABGA Board for his actions, but that will never happen considering the current sitting board. I just want to adjust his spine for him. Rusty stay away from this sanctimonious SOB! |
